Yellowstone Country Fly Fishing

Yellowstone Country… the corner of southwest Montana and northwest Wyoming where great trout rivers are born. The Yellowstone, the forks of the Missouri and the upper Missouri proper, and all the great waters of Yellowstone Park all begin and provide their best fishing in this part of the world. It’s the part of the world I call home, and I’d love to introduce you to the great fishing this region offers. This is my “bare-bones” site, blog, and photo gallery. To visit my main site, which is a bit snazzier, please click here.

I offer float trips on the Yellowstone, Madison, and Missouri Rivers as well as several private lakes. I am one of the few guides or outfitters in Montana to hold a USCG Captain’s License, meaning I am also pleased to offer power boat trips, primarily on the Missouri River. I also run guided walk/wade trips in Yellowstone National Park (through my affiliation with an area fly shop) and on the Paradise Valley spring creeks.

Please click on one of the links above to learn more about Yellowstone Country Fly Fishing, to read my blog/fishing report, to learn about my guide service, or to view one of my free fly tying videos. You’ll also find a link to my photo gallery. I’d love the opportunity to get some photos of you with big fish to add to this gallery.

Give me a call or send me an e-mail to discuss a guided trip or a whole bunch of them. I’d love to put together a package for you.
